How it's made

Cast and extruded aluminium

Hand-forged and lightweight, and the material the house genuinely stands behind: fifteen years against structural failure, and the same fifteen against the finish peeling or blistering. Everything else in the catalogue is warranted for less.

Woven over aluminium

A woven piece carries the same fifteen years on its frame and three on the weave itself. Both are Brown Jordan's own figures, and together they are the honest way to choose between a woven piece and a slung one for a hard west-facing terrace.

Five years on fabric

Cushions, slings and umbrellas are warranted five years against colour and strength loss from sun and weather. Sling rails, stitching, zippers and cushion foam are one year — the fabric outlasts the making of it.
